Summer may not be with us here in Normandie just yet, but I am sure it is making its presence felt elsewhere.
Summer is a great opportunity for you to allow your feet some "them time" after a long winter in boots and shoes. So, here is my pick of this season's summer sandals.

I often get short messages from readers and viewers saying how watching my channel has improved their style. I also get longer, heartfelt messages about how their changing style has improved their lives. One such message came in yesterday from, let's call her, 'Elizabeth'. Elizabeth gave me permission to share her story.
Here is what Elizabeth wrote about my YouTube Channel and how it has helped her:
"Finding you and your videos has been absolutely life changing, a few years ago I suffered a brain injury that has damaged mostly the reasoning part of my brain. Going from a model's figure, to putting on 4 stone as well, left me in an awful place. I have watched practically every video [of yours] and now changing to a minimal wardrobe my brain does not get so overwhelmed and instead of dissolving in confusion and despair I am finally able to get a stylish outfit together again! Having become disabled and losing my sense of self has been truly crippling, building my wardrobe and style, clearing out all the confusion of clothes and taking control of my new wardrobe has been very literal in healing my inner self. My sister started me on this realisation a year or so ago but in finding your videos I found something truly relatable and very healing. Even watching you became like hanging out with a girlfriend, as I am very agoraphobic and spend a lot of time alone. Its really been the best therapy one could have!
I buy all my clothes from charity shops ( as I cannot work anymore). Because my memory is affected I write a list of what I need to look for ( including my size) as I have ended up buying three of the same thing forgetting I had bought one! And even take photos of my wardrobe to use as a reference ( although I often forget to check it!) I take a tape measure in my bag too.
I thought this such an important message to send you, many people who have strokes find this a problem and I am actually enjoying the process now. My heartfelt thanks to you!"
It is truly inspirational to hear from anyone who has overcome difficulties by using their style to boost their confidence, self esteem and general health. There truly is a healing power in Style that takes it beyond mere clothing and getting dressed.
It is why I have chosen style and the passing on of authentic French Chic as my vocation in life.

I have a new resource on my website for anyone trying to recreate any of my outfits - it is L'Atelier.
Part of the fun of Style is taking inspiration from an outfit you like and trying to re-create it with what you have. Sometimes you may need just that one piece to complete a look and that is where my Atelier page comes in.
An atelier is an artist's studio or workshop: a place where creation, recreation and re-creation combine to move your art forward. And Style to me is Art. So move your style journey forward with inspiration and fascination in equal measure from my French Chic Atelier.
I will be re-creating some of my most popular looks from my YouTube Channel and Instagram Account here, with links to my Obsessed With It page. So, if you want to re-create a certain look you have all the inspiration AND the resources you need.

The current lockdown is causing people to suffer more than ever. Just as we thought things were improving, it seems to be getting worse.
