"I’m enjoying the in-depth live videos very much.
I often eat alone, and I have struggled most with not reading or checking email during those times. I also struggle with making a proper meal—cooking for one is not very motivating.
The last two days, however, I’ve really forced myself to try to just be alone with my thoughts while eating at the table. And to make proper meals. Wow!
I learned the following: a) I was able to actually notice my stomach filling and catch myself before I was stuffed when I was eating alone and not distracting myself, b) the time at the table gave me a chance to really notice what I was eating (taste, healthiness, etc.), and it also gave me a chance to reflect on my chic goals, successes, etc. for the day, c) eating in courses (soup, main meal, fruit dessert) took longer and helped me to eat a balanced meal and to notice when I was full."
