Such a helpful mentor
...I emailed Marie-Anne and we worked out what I was. She transferred me over to the rectangle course and it was exactly what I was looking for. It turned out that I had been employing some of the tips she gave without realising or knowing what I was doing. I also realised after her descriptions, that some of my past favourite pieces were actually in styles she described as suiting my body type and lastly, she taught me why some of the styles I am currently wearing, whilst they don't look bad, they certainly don't help. I cannot say enough about how excellent Marie-Anne is teaching you about your body shape. I finished the e-course and now know that when I previously wore necklines, skirt shapes, etc. that were not right for my body shape why I was not pleased with the way they looked on me.

I experienced a lightbulb moment
At the beginning of this course, I was unsure whether I would learn anything new (my stepmother was a tailor and seamstress and tried to teach me the basics in my teens). By the time I got to the lesson on necklines for rectangles, I experienced a lightbulb moment, mainly that I had been choosing unflattering necklines due to not being fussy enough in my clothing purchases (buying T-shirts!)... However, I am aware now of how to make the best of my figure and choose the most flattering necklines and will give style journalling a try.

This course is a must for rectangles.
It teaches you methodically what to buy and look for in clothes so that your figure won’t be lost. This is very important information given the boxy styles currently in fashion.
