Get Your Wellies Out For The Joys!

Last February Daniel Lee of Italian shoe brand Bottega Veneta declared this season, Autumn Winter 2020, to be the Year of the Wellie! After the success of his Biker Boots and micro Sac, "The Pouch", who are we to deny the humble Wellington its turn in the spotlight.
We French have always had a love affair with things nautical. You will often see sailing and non-sailing folk alike tramping the quays of Normandie and Bretagne  in their blue and white Aigle. The Brits, of course, have their Hunters. So the Italians have now given us the aptly named, The Puddle. 
The Puddle comes splashing in in a variety of colours; but, at €490 a pair these are seriously high end, although low ankled.
