Chic Winter Outfits - Style Board

Are you looking to be warm this Winter but without sacrificing your sense of style?
This can very difficult to pull off.
I searched for chic and elegant Winter looks that you could easily recreate for yourself and found these three outfits, as seen in this style board.
Picture
OUTFIT 1 is made of neutral pieces that give off a sophisticated vibe.
A cream knee length coat is worn over a cream turtleneck sweater and brown check trousers. This is a look that would suit Petites as well.

OUTFIT 2 is a chic check blazer and matching trousers in the mid-browns, with a brown suede belt and worn with a classic crisp white shirt. This outfit is finished with a brown trench coat, in vegan leather. You could easily add layers, with a chunky sweater over the shirt and a thick cashmere scarf tied around your neck, on cooler days.

OUTFIT 3 gives off a classic French vibe with its warm navy peacoat. It is styled simply with a navy blue sweater, black belt and dark wash denim jeans. This is a 'passe-partout' wear anywhere outfit. Finish off with a warm scarf, as above.

These pieces are all from Banana Republic Factory who are currently having a 50% sale off everything. Items are selling fast of course, so I apologise if some of these pieces have sold out by the time you read this. If you love any of these pieces and are looking to replenish your Winter wardrobe with chic pieces, now is your chance.
PS: These are affiliate links. I linked to alternative trousers for outfit 2, as they were sold out.

I hope these outfits give you fresh ideas for creating chic Winter outfits. Please let me know what you would like to see in other outfit/style boards.

A bientôt

Dear Marie Anne, I only recently discovered YouTube. But I have to tell you, your videos were one of the first to pop up and I have relished each one. You reminded me that you’re never too old to be stylish and after a long career in suits, trenchcoats, blazers, I abandoned my corporate uniform by donating that wardrobe as I began retirement. Yep, there are moments where I think it was unwise to donate classic pieces that I adored. But as I moved into retirement travel mode my wardrobe changed significantly . With your inspired commentary about classics, and more importantly, watching your proudly wear that gorgeous trenchcoat with sneakers and a smile as you walk along the beautiful coast of Normandy I decided to restore many pieces in my wardrobe. I might also add that after the last five years I had a delightful aging experience of pelvic floor dysfunction and carried around a belly that made clothing choices a challenge. I am inspired to write this comment today because I just turned 70 and after five surgeries in the last four years I am proud to say I can finally zip up a pair of trousers and wear a belt. So my journey for styling this 70 year old broad wit functional abs and a new belly button has been so much fun. I just thought you’d like to know that you’ve made it so! Merry Christmas!

Hello,
I appreciate your efforts to enlighten me and I love the suggestions.
I mainly shop thrift stores but often hear your coaching voice and it's very useful.
Last winter my sweetheart and I spent time in Savannah GA. I saw an outfit on a woman that really inspired me.
She had on a tweed jacket and matching knee length shorts dark tights and adorable shoes. She just looked so effortlessly chic.
Since then I've been on the prowl to find something similar.
My illness always has to be a huge consideration in choosing outfits. IE, I love the navy pea coat but would need a lightweight version d/t neck and shoulder pain. I also need to figure out the capsule wardrobe. When I woke up this morning I was rootling in my drawers to find something comfortable before my shower and now it looks like a tornado came through there. My how I've run on, sorry.
Thanks again for all you do to at least TRY to reform this dedicated jeans and t-shirt wearing ye olde hippie ;)
