I’m guessing that you say “no” a lot. Throughout the day. No.
No, no, no , no!
Without thinking. No. And no. And no again. And no some more.
I understand how saying no makes your life easier:
You don’t have to get out of your comfort zone.
You don’t have to get into situations where all you see is new to you.
You don’t have to, heaven forbid, meet new people and make conversation!
You are safe where you are, with what you know.
So, for you, saying no is the safest thing to do. It is fair to say that it has become a pattern of yours. Wouldn’t you agree?
However, wanting to be safe all the time is starting to make you feel discontent with your life.
Lately, you’ve been asking yourself “ is that it?” “is that all there is?” “is my life going to be like this forever?”
You are feeling saddened and disheartened about your life.
You are not sure why it is the way it is, but it is. So it is. And so it will be, until you do something about it!
You’ve always said no to new opportunities, new friendships, new ways to experience your life. So the way your life is at the moment is the result of this. The result of you saying no.
If you always do the same thing, you always get the same results. Therefore, doing something different will bring a different result.
So, if you want your life to change, don’t you agree that you have to make changes?
Don’t you think that now is the time to change tack?
If you’re still reading this, I take it that this is something that resonates with you.
So, this is what you can do to make changes to your life. To get different results.
It is simple yet amazing.
Say yes to new things from now on. Say yes to everything. Say yes to life!
Instead of saying no and isolating yourself from the world, say yes!
As a simple, yet not easy, challenge, for the next 24 hours, make yourself say yes to every opportunity, every invitation, every request.
And of course, say yes to this challenge.
You will suddenly notice the difference it makes to your daily life, to your experiences. You will meet interesting people, make new friends, eat surprisingly good food, discover a talent you never thought you had, be in situations that make you laugh.
Start saying yes! to your life.
And come back to tell us how saying yes is changing your life.
